Once upon a time, well about a week ago or so, the Jaca tree, was a Fine tree to have, Harvesting 2250 Coconuts almost every harvest. ONE TREE 2250 Coconuts, Wow!
Then Zynga Decided that was too many, so they whacked the Mighty Jaca down to 212 Coconuts I believe (Because its not fair if Some people get a lot of Coconuts.. Right, more like can't sell coconuts for Real money if folks are earning them easily)
So Fast Forward to this Morning March 5th, This is what the Tree Mastery Page looked like if you Looked at it.
Makes sense, One Gum Tree Produces the other. And one Hawaiian Tree Sounding Name Makes the Other. Fair Enough! Of Note, that the Rainbow Gum is a *level 2 Tree* 12 hours ago…
Then Zynga Decided again too many people were mass producing Rainbow Gum Trees For Free! And they were using Orchards to get that almost 1000 Coconuts Per Harvest TOO OFTEN!!! So Using the only Zynga logic they have at their disposal. They again Fixed something that Was not Broken.
Now 3 Trees Make the Jaca, and a Level 2 Tree is now a Level 1 Tree.
I already see people complaining they grew a Jaca tree, as much as they complain when they get a Granny Smith.
I'm *SO* "glad" they keep leveling the playing field. The Sad thing is I'm starting to feel like they are running over me with the steam roller they are using.
(Of Note, When It seems like I'm Angry with Zynga Generally my writing is just reflecting the general Consensus of the Players I interact with)

So Here is the actual rundown of the quest currently, set for a Thursday release, details could change, blah blah blah. This is an all farm quest it appears with a dash of Hawaii towards the end.
1) Free Hawaii Access I hear is already starting to roll out very slowly.
2) The 2nd Chapter of the Hawaii Quests are Rolling out, I've seen my feed fill up with Map Requests.
3) And they have corrected that error, I forsee me getting much use out of this chicken. No not like that!
Future Quest Prize it appears, Magical Levitating Chicken.

So basically when I see a new quest I break it down into types of tasks, such as Building stuff, Requests, Animal Harvests, etc This is basically how I would get ready to execute this questline assuming I didn't have access to the HP early.
You can use these links to get a jump on things. And knock out a full 1/3rd of the Quests Tasks!
Crafts/Bushels:
If you have room you should start buying from your Friends the Following Bushels in these Quantities.
9 Hilo Pineapples, 6 Double Pikake, 9 Strawberries
36 Taro
3 Shrimp, 9 Yam, 9 Sugar cane
2 Yellow Fin Tuna, 8 Yellow Hibiscus, 4 Chickpea
2 Kelp, 4 Oyster, 4 Spinach
Yes you will get a number of these from your own harvests, but if you already have room getting them early isn't a bad plan.
Animal Harvesting:
Clearly Throwing the Animals into Habitats to harvest speeds up things. So you need to make sure Livestock, Aquarium, and Aviary on your Hawaiian Paradise to speed up your Questing.
That should help you with all the parts of the quest that is not just harvesting crops, and you can do that, you should be a pro at it by now.
