Happy Mother’s Day From the FvNation to all you Mothers.

This doesn't TOTALLY revolve around some sort of Farmville stuff, so you may wanna skip over it, if you only come around for FV Knowledge.

I am still kinda on the fence about Mother's Day, mostly because I know of a number of folks that for lack of a better term, crap on their mom Most of the year, and then for one day they get her a card and/or some candy and call it good.  That's kinda poopy, it really should be moms get the love and whatnot year round.  (not that you gotta buy her candy every day, that likely would not be a good health choice)

I was raised mostly by my mom, and she did everything she could to make sure that I had just a kick ass childhood, to make sure I knew I was (and still) loved, to make sure I grew up knowing how folks should be treated etc.  The proper things a young person should learn.  Don't get me wrong, there was of course times I got upset with mom, and we had issues, but every time, we have worked things out, and its been like it was before.  She supports me in what I do, even this website for a Game She doesn't care about, at all!  She even visits!  Which I think is pretty cool.  Heck since I first wrote this post a year ago, she's started playing, and we talk about the game and its fun.  My mom is surely cool

I got lucky in my childhood that I got to grow up playing the classic games like Super Mario Brothers, Metroid, Legend of Zelda, etc etc, the list being too long to ever try to post.  Heck when my Mom was pregnant with me she hung out in an Arcade!  And my mom was responsible for a fair amount of my video gaming.  I'll never forget the times she surprised me when it came to game stuff, like totally beating the crap out of me at Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the N64, or when she went back to Wal-mart to Yell at the old man that refused to sell me Super Mario 3, or when she showed up one day after work, and had bought Mario Kart 64, and countless other things she did.  My mom helped grow my love of games, which is why this site is here.  So thank you mom for making sure as a youth that I did not go without in any way, I was disciplined when I needed it, and rewarded when I deserved it, you made sure I was well fed (some may say I ate too much, which is likely true) and you provided so many things that expanded my imagination and also saw to it, that I became a fairly smart individual.

So Thank you Mom, I love you, and you are just super epic.  And I'm not even all that upset that time at the toy store I got the Fisher-Price Cash Register over that other thing I wanted. 🙂 (that part was kinda an inside joke of sorts, I know it just wasn't possible to get what I desired at the time, but one day I shall have it!) This is still talking about a Toy to this day I do not own, but will.  Its over 7 feet long!

In Closing, If My mom played Farmville, I would had to have sent her this for her farm. (I don't think they put it in the market, booo!)

I hope all you moms have a great day!

Its been a year since I wrote most of the above, I tweaked it some, and I still feel the same way, My mom is awesome, she is one of the reasons FvNation.com is here.  Like a number of things in life, as I get older, I kinda hate the times I was just not as good a son as I should/could have been.  But today is not about that, today is one of the 360ish days a year that is for saying Thank You Mom, and You are very much appreciated etc etc.
