As a happy accident I discovered how to get my Winter Animal Pen. I harvested one of the designated "Winter Animals" on my farm, in this case, Lemmings, and I received this popup:
And after which I was like, "HECK YES I WANT TO PLACE NOW!" and look what I got:
It still appears to be a bit broken, it's not letting me add any materials or "look inside" to see what I need to build it with. BUT this is yet another sign pointing towards Winter Wonderland closeness!

Edit: The farm froze up and made me refresh, and took away my Winter Animal Pen. Boooo! Oh well, something to look forward to!
Here is one friends pickups so far. by searching terms, or just browsing through sections. Snowy Mailboxes, Frozen Ponds, Trees, Etc Etc.
Some stuff is Locked, some is Cash, the Fences luckily are there. And are coin.
I would have posted about this earlier, but I had a big test, and I had to prepare for the BobCation. Yes I'm going on Vacation! What does this mean for site news/Posts/etc? Well In reality, the only days that will suffer are likely just Travel Days, Aka Tonight, and when I return.
And I basically made a B on the Big Test I had, I Expected much worse, but I guess I have more in my head than just Farmville doings.
PS: Since the Winter Wonderland stuff is in the market, it points to a fairly soon release…

I LOVE this idea, it presents frozen in the ice, that you get your buddies to help you melt and rescue! And I'm guess it gets reloaded with a new Present?
Here are a whole mess of buildings and decos, take note of the Coop and the Garden Shed, and there is a Crafting Cottage in there, because it turns out the 4th Farm Has its own exclusive Crafts. And good news for coin players, a few Fences will be coming out!
I honestly can't pick a favorite of these, I'm not really feeling the giant snowcovered gumdrop thing, and the Giant trees I could do with out, but over all I'm beyond happy and hope they keep churning out trees as long as they are of quality.
