So today I am reminded of what is actually grown in Farmville. The crops, trees, etc that is all fake, none of that is truly grown in the game. The true thing cultivated from the game is Friendship.
And it is true, Friendship is Magic.
It's an interesting dynamic, that random strangers can become quality friends, just from sharing a common interest. I've been blessed to make wonderful friends all over the world. An example that really shows the community that grew from Farmville, is that a whole bunch of those that used to play, and no longer do, still visit the site/chat, and we still talk fairly often.
The Site I founded years ago, along with the game has given me many friends. But the truth is, I had made some quality friends long before I started FvNation, back before I really was even covering the game. From those First folks that came by the Fanatic Chat being bored at their tech job, or being at College in Hawaii, all the way to the most recent friends. Its been an honor and a privilege.
I hope everyone that has befriended strangers, has got to grow some friendships.

I've been very blessed to have made so many friends from just talking about this farm game that gives us all headaches.
Now before you scroll on by, let me say a few things.
1) This is Legit.
2) You do not just magically get the Facebook Credits, you actually have to follow the rules and whatnot of the site.
3) This is Still Legit, and open to most of the visitors of FvNation, there are a few countries that are unable to play with 4loot Currently.
4) This is super easy. You Search, and some of your searches get coins, use the coins to buy Facebook Credits, which you then use to buy Farmcash (or other games).
5) Numerous Members of the FvNation have done 4Loot Long before I even heard of them, and have got their Facebook Credits.
6) If you are a long time or even a recent reader of Fvnation.com you know that I hate Scams, and I wouldn't ever Promote a Scam. This is not 100% walk in the park you search one time and magically get a billion Facebook credits. It requires actually doing the searches via the searchbar at 4loot.com. Not every search gets points. I did about 10 searches earlier and got 7 points total, 5 on one search and 1 point each on 2 others.

So Its Tuesday again, and I have a moment while I wait for some files to download I need for class, so It time to throw out some of my thoughts.
1) I keep an eye on the number of Shares/Visits the site gets, its kinda like a thermometer of how Farmville is doing. Because for the most part, *most* of my visitors are the most Knowledgeable, Smart, and generally Epic (and attractive!) of the Farmers. FvNation.com is kinda like the secret club of the wizards or some such. The Site Visits and Shares are at a Low for the Past almost 10 months. Which to a degree reflects there is a lot of unhappy Farmers out there. A quick check of the Daily Average User (or DAU) and Monthly Average User (you guessed it, MAU) It shows that the game is freefalling a bit. But is still pulling a strong 26ish Million MAU. On the flipside in a month they have lost over 10% of players (29Million down to 25.9Million). For those that still enjoy Farmville, including myself, hopefully will see the game shore up its numbers. Which in all honesty helps the site, so the more Happy Players the better the Site does.
2) Its the two Words that by themselves are nothing to really worry about, but when combined, it creates Fear and worry in so many players.

Yes there has been possible legit peek into the Farmville 2, a fella named Alex Harvey posted his Resume, with this little nugget:
Contributed concepts and copy for several new business presentations, including the successful Malibu Black and FarmVille 2 pitches.
Further suggesting there may be more to this than Meets the Eyes, (Transformers FTW!) His Resume is gone now. Taking the peep away, but of course Once something hits the Internet It doesn't go away. A gaming site got in touch with Zynga, who had no comment, for this rumor….
I personally feel like, its either 1) True and about a Real Farmville 2, or 2) True and is about another farm or some such. Either way I don't feel like Zynga will be shutting the Doors on Farmville, The Mafia Wars 2 Came out, and yet Mafia Wars is still around etc. So I dont think its time to sharpen the pitch Forks or Light the torches, at least not yet.
3) This is gonna likely come off sarcastic, but I'm not even being sarcastic this time. I'm sorry that I've disappointed a number of folks. In the grand scheme of things, I wish my life was a little less hectic, and I was able to do as much as I aim to do. When I fail at helping someone with a question/request, or am just super delayed, I feel like an . But my reasons are of Quality. School and Life and just being wore out all the time. Full disclosure time: One of the biggest site cheerleaders and friends, I took way too long in getting them something they had me help them with. And That sucks. And Another one, Heck I'm not even sure where their box ended up, I don't think it made the left turn at Albuquerque. Well you may have been able to tell from some of posts, but I have a love for dinosaurs! Anyways, I'm very excited for these Dinosaurs and I can't wait to show my nephew this weekend. The animations are soooooo cute!! This exchange on the fanpage made me feel like I needed to point out, that I am STILL not Zynga. I wonder how much her farm will be sold for. I feel bad when I point out that I'm not the all powerful Oz (zynga) that people seem to magically think I am.
I know for most folks this is clear.

My my little site of mine, you have came quite a ways since I birthed you with the help of others way back when. Gosh Re-reading that, it sounds awful creepy, but its staying!.
People ask me semi oftenish about the "History" of the site, where it came from, and why I like to pretend to be some sort of Knowledgeable farmville savant. Well Gather round the campfire because I'm kinda gonna throw out a short version of the historia.
Way back in the late part of summer 2009, a friend of mine challenged me at this game called "Farmville", she'd been playing for awhile and thought she was the "hot poop". So being that I like hard stuff (twss), I decided I'd give it a whirl. Within just MINUTES of playing this game, I was enthralled with it, it tapped into my brain and reminded me of the funtimes playing SimFarm in forestry class in Highschool, and mucking with Harvest moon a bit. The Cuteness of the animals called to me, but I was soon DEVASTATED to discover I was too late to get the Cow of Brown that I'd seen on others farms when I was going around taking photos for my Ribbon. And then uh, magically the sheep_black became cow_brown, and much joy was had.
My Friend ended up losing interest in the game after I beat her oh so badly, it wasn't even a contest. It was George Foreman vs Fat, and he knocked it out. (see He has this grill…)
In October of 2009 I ventured onto the Official Farmville Forums. Which I'd describe as a much more annoying version of the Mos Eisley (As Obi-Wan Said it ""wretched hive of scum and villainy.") I would come across a fella named Jake Smith, who at the time, had the same mindset as myself, and wanted to get out the Farmville news to the masses. And I offered my services to him, and he accepted and I began writing things for his website.
One of the first things I did, was suggest we have a Chat Room. And within a day or few, people who are now some of my closest friends, started randomly appearing! Quirinus, then Jenzie, and Korey. And then there was another influx of folks, Lucy, Lola, Ryan, Gordon, Farrah, etc etc, and by Late November, the Fanatic Chat Room was Rocking like a hurricane. Then We picked up more people Amber, Erika, Fortna, Roses, S1, Luke, Mouse, Imelda, and bunches others, It was so epic. Then I Decided I was done. 2 Days before Christmas of 2009, I deleted my login, gave the house to Q, and washed my hands of things, The direction Jake was wanting to take the Chat/site were not matched up to mine, plus I was having some other issues. But On Christmas Eve, Mouse convinced me that humans required my return, because people kept asking where I was… So Back I went, and new friends showed up! Devin, Bonnie, Coffee (RIP Marcia, you were a good friend and human). And well Jake was further destroying the chatroom.. As such Mouse, Q, Farrah in myself had secret rebellion meetings…. And It was decided that the chat needed to be moved before Jake Destroyed it with his stupidness, And it was decided that since I still enjoyed writing things about Farmville, I'd create a crappy little blog, and post stuff there! And after Jenzie suggested the Name FarmvilleNation. So it started. Jake got *really* pissed about my leaving, and well taking almost everyone with me. So on the 3rd Birthday I'll go over that 1st Year.
